“I couldn’t not write this song...”
Scott Krippayne, a well-known Christian singer/songwriter, won the American Idol Songwriter contest in 2007—but awards aren’t how he defines his life.
| “I’ve got a long way to go to really make a difference, to be a true follower of Jesus. That’s where I’ve been living lately, trying to sort out...how to represent Christ in the world...I can’t pretend to know how [my] songs will impact people, but my hope is that God’s Spirit will reveal what He will to those who will hear.” |
When he heard about this opportunity to write a song built around serving the poor, homeless, hungry, and needy, Scott jumped on it. “I couldn’t not write this song. It’s a powerful way to show Christ’s love in action!”
